What is a Microsoft Tenant?

When you provision any Microsoft Online Services, whether it is Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Microsoft Azure, a Microsoft Azure Tenant is created for your organization.

How to Find Your Details

Your Microsoft Tenant has two key pieces of information that are required by external organizations like Dynamixware in order to interact with it as a Cloud Solution Provider - the Tenant ID and the Tenant Name.

Tenant ID

The Tenant ID is a unique identifier (GUID) that Microsoft assigns to your Tenant on creation.

Your Tenant ID can be found on the Azure Active Directory's Properties (https://aad.portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_AAD_IAM/ActiveDirectoryMenuBlade/~/Properties) page under Tenant ID:

Tenant Name

The Tenant Name is a unique value that the initial person who provisioned Microsoft services for your organization chose.  This value is globally unique and represents your organization and serves as the internal Active Directory Domain name under the format of <organization>.onmicrosoft.com.

Your Tenant Name can be found on the Domains (https://aad.portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_AAD_IAM/ActiveDirectoryMenuBlade/~/Domains) page of the Microsoft Admin Portal
